About Us

A training school for female teachers began operating in the Old College building on this site in Ripon in 1862. The college closed in 2001, and the site was finally sold for development to become known as the College Lawns Estate.

The College Lawns Estate management Company (CLEMCO) was established in 2003 to manage the extensive grounds as a ‘resident management company’ under a mechanism which has been used on many new private housing developments in England.
