The rain held off as the College Lawns community celebrated the final weekend of summer with a picnic on the pitch in front of the pavilion. We fired up a couple of barbecues and the aroma of sizzling burgers filled the air. The tombola made sure many went home with prizes.
Music was provided by Mat, Jaime and friends aka RoughCut UK who are regulars and organisers of the Open Mic nights at the Black Bull in Ripon. Their set included classics such as Rip Tide, A Horse With No Name and many others. Several local residents enjoyed a dance!
